In the month of March we did a 21 Day Fitness Challenge to raise money for Down Syndrome Scotland. We ran this through our private Facebook page and all our members participated.
It was fantastic and great for all our community to come together and join in the challenge in aide of charity and helping others.
This is truly where KCPT sets itself apart, the community we have here is incredible and we love the people here.
We had a target of £2,100 to tie into the theme of 21. All our challenges involved the number 21, whether 21 calories, 21g of protein, 2100 steps, these are all examples of what we did and it was a great fun filled month of fitness.
A large part of this was made up of fantastic gestures from our friends Gary and Laura at Possible Estate Agents. They very kindly donated £21 for all the properties they had sold by March 21st, this brought their donation to £399.
At KCPT we matched their donation and it was very well received from all at Down Syndrome Scotland.
Part of running any business is all about growing and building a brand and a community. Doing challenges like this are such a big part of what we are all about and our ethos.
We love helping and definitely want to do more.
We are hoping to bring a Fitness Day Challenge for all our members later this year, this is something that has been years in the making and hopefully the day will help promote and serve more local communities and help out people that need it.
